PRE-COOLING CHAMBER
Pre-cooling is done to remove the field heat of the harvested produce, which is detrimental to keeping quality of fruits and vegetables and it is done to delay ripening and senescence processes.
Pre-cooling chambers at Susan Cold Storage LLP, conserves the weight and extends the storage life of the fresh produce. PLW in storage can be reduced from 6 to 2.5% by employing pre-cooling treatments.
At SCCi we also use the most advanced fruits ripening rooms for fruits like mango, banana and papaya. We provide forced draft cooling system for uniform ripening of fruits even in large capacity rooms. We used blended gas system for the purpose of ripening which is acceptable by all world standards. With our system, client has unique advantage of controlling ripening cycle from four to fifteen days! We provide precise gas monitoring system for batter storage life of the produce.
